    Job Description:

    • Function as a team member providing care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients via ground ambulance, helicopter, and fixed wing aircraft.
    • Maintain the readiness of equipment and availability of supplies.
    • Complete related paperwork.
    • Desire to expand knowledge of pediatric and neonatal patients and apply that knowledge in the transport environment.
    • Be self-motivated, highly organized, and possess strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of three years ALS experience for flight paramedics and three years clinical experience for an EMT-P/LP.
    • Plan to assess and document the competency and proficiency of the provider to perform in the critical care medical transport environment.
    • Current Texas Certification or Licensure as a Paramedic.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Valid Texas Driver's License and Auto Liability Insurance.
    • ACLS Certification, PALS Certification, NRP Certification, and Stable Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain).
    • TNCC (audit within 6 months of employment, every 4 years thereafter).
    • Advanced Certification (FP-C, CCEMTP, C-NPT, or TP-C) within 2 years.
    • Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (during orientation, every 3 years thereafter).
