    OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician

    Corewell Health's Women's Health Service Line is expanding and seeks to add an OB/GYN hospitalist physician to our growing Core Faculty team at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI! Enjoy working 12-hour inpatient shifts with flexibility on the number of shifts per month. This full-time position requires 152 shifts per year at a competitive rate of $2,403 per shift. Collaborative, physician-led shift scheduling. Opportunity to maintain GYN skills/major/minors.

    • A collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers, including certified nurse midwives, working at one of the highest volume labor and delivery units in the country.
    • Working alongside a midwife and core faculty physician, as well as a robust MFM team and nocturnist physicians.
    • This service supports our academic OB service, uncovered OB and GYN patients, coverage for MFM patients, and night coverage for a community-based clinic, as well as the outpatient residency practice.
    • Our Core Faculty team works in a professional environment and provides primary teaching of residents and medical students. Supervision of residents/medical students is a key component to this job and there is an active teaching component involved.

    Requirements

    • Board Certified OB/GYN physicians who have a strong interest in resident and medical education.
    • Required Doctorate.
    • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
    • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
    • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required.
    • CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association if required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required.
