    Therapist I-II PMTO

    Join our dynamic team as a Therapist I-II in the Kansas Foster Care department located in Kansas City, KS. This position offers a starting salary of $52,000 - $56,000 annually, depending on education and experience, along with a sign-on/retention bonus of $2,500.00.

    Job Description

    • Provide therapeutic interventions and clinical services to parents and their children utilizing the Parent Management Training-Oregon (PMTO) evidence-based treatment modality.
    • Participate actively in PMTO training to achieve and sustain certification.
    • Maintain a caseload of 5-7 families and provide face-to-face intensive in-home services to the assigned parent/guardian and child.
    • Conduct one in-home parent coaching session and one family session with the parents/guardians and their child(ren) for up to 26 weeks.
    • Develop treatment plans, maintain clinical records, and work cooperatively with the assigned Cornerstones of Care Foster Care case worker to coordinate therapy sessions and communicate pertinent case information.
    • Develop a transition plan with the family for discharge.

    Requirements

    • A master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
    • Must be licensed by the Kansas BSRB.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
    • A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
