Job Description

• Process verbal and written prescriptions accurately while adhering to state and federal laws.
• Evaluate prescriptions for safety and legal compliance.
• Provide expert drug counseling to customers and prescribers.
• Assist with third-party billing and insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate records, including controlled substances inventory and reconciliation.
• Promote and administer immunizations safely and effectively.
• Utilize the RX computer system for accurate and efficient order processing.
• Assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations and answer customer inquiries.
• Uphold organizational policies and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

• Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania (current or in process with willingness to obtain ASAP).
• Graduate of a U.S. School of Pharmacy or passed a foreign equivalency exam.
• Successful completion of the NAPLEX exam.
