    Overview of Unit/Department

    Adult Psychiatric Units I and II provide care for adult patients (ages 18-50) experiencing acute mental health needs. Each unit includes 21 beds, divided into two wings: a 14-bed lower acuity wing and a 7-bed higher acuity wing, allowing for tailored, patient-centered care.

    These units are built around a strong commitment to safety and creating a supportive, therapeutic environment that promotes healing and mental wellness. Staff play a vital role in fostering stability, trust, and recovery for patients during vulnerable moments in their lives.

    Requirements

    • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.

    Experience

    • Preferred: Previous experience with mental health or age-specific population.

    Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exhibits valuable time management skills.
    • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

    • Must obtain department-specific certifications within the designated time frame.
