Wellness Director (LPN or RN)

As the Wellness Director LPN or RN, you're the clinical leader and oversee the Wellness team. It's your responsibility to guide and encourage staff and collaborate with other leaders in the community to meet the comprehensive needs of our residents.
Job Description
- Make a significant contribution to the quality of life for our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
- Review routines, calendar of events, team member schedule, and coordinate resident appointments, treatments, or procedures
- Assist with new resident orientation and transition to community
- Responsible for nurse delegation
- Develop, implement, and update service plans
- Make daily rounds to observe and evaluate the physical and emotional status of residents
- Coordinate admission and discharge of residents
- Evaluate employee performance and assume responsibility for recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Ensure documentation of resident clinical status and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock, and counted at shift change
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living
Requirements
- Maintains a current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
- Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents, and their families
- Demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support by treating others with dignity and respect
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
- Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

Salary
$90,000 - $120,000 annually depending on experience and type of nursing license.
