    Urgent Care Provider Floater - Physician / Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

    Join our dynamic team as an Urgent Care Provider Floater in South Atlanta Clinics, covering locations such as Stockbridge, Lovejoy, Morrow, McDonough, Fayetteville, Griffin, Locust Grove, Lithia Springs, Covington, Newnan, and Lithonia. This position offers an annual bonus, competitive pay, and an annual stipend to cover mileage and flexibility—up to $20,000.

    Job Description

    • Float and work shifts in a region of 8-10 clinics within reasonable driving distance.
    • Set schedule with shifts in a variety of clinics within the region.
    • Participate in CME and training programs.
    • Deliver healthcare services to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring high standards of care.
    • Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent and non-urgent presentations.
    • Select, order, perform, and interpret tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient conditions.
    • Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patients.
    • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care.
    • Perform procedures including laceration repair and orthopedics; provide referrals to medical specialists.
    • Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
    • Notate findings and treatment course in patient electronic charts including follow-up notes.
    • Perform physicals including sports, DOT, non-DOT, pre-employment, and annuals.
    • Evaluate patients for workers' compensation injuries, coordinating with employers/clients.
    • Oversee mid-level providers working independently at clinics within the region when necessary.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience within family medicine and/or urgent care as a PA, FNP, or Staff Physician.
    • Doctorate (DO/MD) or Masters (PA/NP) with appropriate state license.
    • Preference for ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family practice.
    • Understanding of medical coding and billing.
    • Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogens, and others.
    • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, Microsoft Office, and EMR applications.
    • Understanding and experience with occupational health practices including CME qualification, drug testing protocols, employment physicals, and OSHA guidelines.
