Travel Physical Therapist

A Travel Physical Therapist or Local Travel Physical Therapist is needed for our hospital-based outpatient neuro department. We have an experienced team of 12 staff physical therapists and a supportive center manager. This is a quality of care-focused outpatient orthopedic/neuro clinic located in West Orange, NJ.

New grad travel therapists are welcome. Many assignments offer mentoring/onboarding during your first few weeks with a gradual increase in caseload.

Job Description

• $2400 gross, $2000-$2250 net per week, after tax take-home. Paid weekly.
• Local travel rates: $55-$60 per hour.

• 1:2 PT tech to physical therapy ratio.
• Seasoned front desk staff that communicate with the staff therapist prior to scheduling patients.

In the neuro department, we treat, on average, 7-9 patients per day with 1-hour evaluations and 60-minute follow-up appointments. Flexible schedules are available: 4/10's, 4/9's, or 5/8's.

Requirements

• Masters and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited physical therapy program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• State licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least 1 year of outpatient ortho or outpatient neuro experience. We will consider new grads with 1 clinical in outpatient.
• Current CPR certificate.
