Medical Oncologist

Join our team as a Medical Oncologist in a hospital outpatient setting. This position requires a long-term commitment and offers a supportive environment with a focus on adult hematology oncology.

Job Description

• Work dates needed: Starting as soon as credentialed
• Preferred schedule: Must agree to a long-term 1-year commitment, Monday to Friday (8 AM - 4:30 PM), somewhat flexible
• No call required
• Scope of work: Must agree to a long-term 1-year commitment; will not accept candidates offering less as this is a one-doctor shop
• Patient mix: Typical hematology oncology; not responsible for non-hematology oncology infusions
• Workload/expectations: 15 patients per day
• Support staff: 1 full-time advanced practice provider in addition to locum physician
• 100% adult cases
• Typical community-based hematology oncology practice mix
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies if desired
• Minimum of 12 shifts per month
• 25 beds

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license
• Active DEA with Pennsylvania address
• Board certified in Medical Oncology
• BLS certification
• Flu vaccine within the past 12 months
• Current CV
• Disclose any malpractice claims or disciplinary actions
• NPBD required
