Medical Oncologist

Join our team as a Medical Oncologist in a hospital outpatient setting. This position requires a long-term commitment and offers a supportive environment with a focus on adult cases.

Job Description

• Must agree to a long-term 1-year commitment, as this is a one-doctor shop
• Manage a typical hematology oncology patient mix
• Not responsible for non-hematology oncology infusions
• Expected workload of 15 patients per day
• Support staff includes 1 full-time advanced practice provider in addition to the locum physician
• Perform bone marrow biopsies if desired
• Minimum of 12 shifts per month
• Facility has 25 beds

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license
• Active DEA with Pennsylvania address
• Board certified in Medical Oncology
• BLS certification
• Flu vaccine within the past 12 months
• Current CV
• Disclosure of any malpractice claims or disciplinary actions
• NPBD required

Work Schedule

• Must agree to a long-term 1-year commitment, Monday to Friday (8 AM - 4:30 PM), somewhat flexible, with no call required
