Job Description:

• Increase access, lower costs, and improve quality of care.
• Advise on prescriptions and help manage chronic and specialty conditions.
• Lead and direct Pharmacy Staff, including Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Manage patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Oversee customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments.
• Identify business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance.
• Implement solutions and lead team to achieve specified goals.
• Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with others and deliver better outcomes.
• Foster a team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Apply knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Listed on the pharmacy state license as the pharmacist in charge.
• Submission of required information/documents for state PMP access (where applicable).
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical pay range for this role is $65.00 - $81.00 per hour. The actual salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus or short-term incentive program.
