Join our team in a hospice home care setting, providing compassionate care to patients in need. This position is available due to retirement and offers a flexible schedule.

Job Description

• Practice setting: Hospice home care
• Reason for coverage: Retirement and home care
• Dates of coverage: ASAP until indefinitely
• Call schedule: Call is on average 1 weeknight per week from 4 PM - 8 AM and 1 in 4/5 weekends from 4 PM on Friday until 8 AM on Monday
• Call ratio: 1 in 4/5
• Average number of patients per day: Variable. The majority of the hospice physician's time is spent in interdisciplinary team meetings, reviewing cases for hospice eligibility, and providing guidance and recommendations to the nurses in the field. Home visits for face-to-face encounters and symptom management are scheduled as needed in accordance with the hospice physician's schedule, averaging 0-2 per day.

• Provider must be local; only mileage is reimbursed.
