Join our team at Medical Associates Clinic, a multispecialty group with a 24/7 Hospital Trauma Level III. This position offers a collaborative environment with on-site radiology coverage.

Job Description

• Provide on-site radiology coverage for mammography (screeners & diagnostic mammo/breast ultrasound)
• Conduct on-site exams including fluoroscopy, MRI, and CT
• Consult with providers and staff

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiology
• Active IA license preferred (IMLC LOQ considered)
• Patient mix primarily consists of adult/geriatric patients, with minimal pediatrics
• Average cases per day: 50 - 60

Support Staff

• Available staff includes certified radiology techs, ultrasonographers, and mammography techs

Work Schedule & Procedures

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, no weekends or call
• Required procedures include mammography & breast imaging, MSK imaging & procedures, fluoroscopy exams, MRI & CT imaging, and pediatric & general ultrasound

• Hospital beds: MercyOne has 263 beds
• EMR system used: Cerner

Travel & Accommodation

• Nearest airports: Dubuque, IA / Cedar Rapids, IA
• Housing and transportation arranged by locum firm (must choose hotel from provided list or face $100/night cap)

Compensation & Rate Caps

• Hourly rate: $420/hour
• Holiday rate: 1.5x regular rate
