We are currently seeking an experienced Weekend Registered Nurse Manager to work in our Health Center. Job Description

• Meet and assist with new admissions that arrive during the weekend hours
• Discuss problems or concerns with residents, family members, staff, and other interdisciplinary care team members. Provide support/education as needed to arrive at resolution of grievances.
• Read the 24-hour report for changes of condition to determine assessments, plans, notifications, and consults needed.
• Assure accuracy and completeness of medical record.
• Administer direct care as needed. This may include working as a charge nurse.
• Keep the RNM informed of resident status and other related matters via written reports and verbal communication.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing education.
• Must have current active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon.
• Current BLS CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in the care of the geriatric resident as evidenced by previous work experience is preferred.
• Experience with the RAI process preferred but not necessary.
• Must meet Oregon State regulation for Resident Care Managers that mandates successful completion of 3 credit hours or 30 continuing education hours (CEUs) pertinent to gerontology rehabilitation or long-term care; 3 credit hours or 14 CEUs pertinent to supervision within 9 months of hire.
