    Computerized Tomography Technologist

    Join our team at Dayton Children's - Main Campus in the General Radiology department. This full-time position requires a Computerized Tomography Technologist to produce quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using the CT scanner and associated equipment for imaging and image manipulation.

    Job Description

    • Produce quality diagnostic images with minimal supervision while adhering to strict quality parameters.
    • Independently perform or assist licensed independent practitioners in radiographic procedures.
    • Prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with regulations and institutional policy.
    • Educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed and safety within the CT department.
    • Advocate for each patient as an individual with unique healthcare needs, providing considerate and respectful care.
    • Collaborate with radiology staff and other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care for patients.
    • Mentor student technologists during their clinical rotations.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED is required.
    • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
    • Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health is required.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography is required.
    • Advanced registry with ARRT in Computed Tomography is preferred.
    • CPR certification is required.

    Shift Details

    • Evenings: 1 PM - 9:30 PM and one weekend day.
    • Every third week: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM plus backup call rotation to cover call-offs.
