Job Description

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of pediatric growth and development, recognizes deviations from the norm, and has competency in administering a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques for the age groups served.
• Recognizes limitations and seeks guidance when appropriate.
• Participates in ongoing continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
• Actively supports department and hospital goals and mission statements.
• Works collaboratively with other disciplines within the department and key professionals within the hospital and community.
• Complies with all requirements for legal practice determined by the state license board.
• Works with Physical Therapy Assistants with appropriate supervision and documentation collaboration and co-signatures.
• Conducts weekly supervisory meetings to review patient issues and changes to plans of care and reviews plans of care for any changes or updates to goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• 2 years of experience in Pediatrics is preferred.
• Physical Therapy License in the State of Ohio is required.
• CPR: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation - American Heart Association certification is required.
• PT Ohio - Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers certification is required.
