Radiologic Technologist

Location: Dayton Children's - Main Campus

Job Description:

• Produce quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using all available diagnostic equipment, including EKG and patient registration.
• Provide services that meet the needs of the department's customers with minimal supervision.
• Educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed within the center.
• Maintain educational requirements including CPR, Ohio licensure, ARRT registration, and participate in hospital-wide Mandatory Education and EKG requirements.
• Strive to meet departmental goals concerning patient satisfaction and patient registration accuracy standards.
• Recognize each patient as an individual with unique healthcare needs and provide considerate, respectful care.
• Work with other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care for individual patients.

Department Specific Details:

• $5,000 Sign on Bonus available.
• Full-time 3rd-shift Rad Tech position.
• Cross-train in CT within one year of hire for professional growth opportunities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
• Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health is required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Professional Development:
