Job Description

• Perform routine and specific specialized nuclear medicine procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and assist the radiologist in ordering and administering radionuclide therapy procedures.
• Perform daily quality control on radiopharmaceuticals, imaging equipment, well counter, uptake probe, dose calibrator, imaging cameras, and ensure proper documentation is maintained per NRC and State regulations.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a CNMT or by the NMTCB.
• Must be licensed by the state in which you will practice.
