Job Description

• Provide full scope of primary and preventive health care services to male and female patients of all ages in small, medium, and large-sized general clinics/hospitals.
• Serve as the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team leader providing comprehensive outpatient care for over 2,500 TRICARE Prime enrolled beneficiaries.
• Manage complex and interdependent acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, asthma, and psychiatric disorders.
• Perform ambulatory surgical procedures such as casting/splinting, suturing, excisional skin biopsies, and vasectomies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and testing procedures including laboratory and radiological examinations.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the PCMH team, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective healthcare.
• Participate in continuing education programs to maintain skills and knowledge in accordance with AFMS, MTF, and unit policies.
• Respond to local disaster situations and participate in disaster training exercises.

Requirements

• Completion of residency training in Family Practice
