    Gastroenterologist - Clinical Educator

    Job Description

    • The faculty will be responsible for the growth of a General Gastroenterology practice either at Ascension Seton or at the future site of The University of Texas Medical Center.
    • The position will comprise inpatient gastroenterology consult service, outpatient clinics, and endoscopy.
    • There are no scheduled outpatient clinics during inpatient weeks.
    • The position includes protected time for academic activities and may include teaching residents.

    Requirements

    • MD degree with Board Certification (or Board Eligibility if within 2 years of residency) in Internal Medicine.
    • Candidates with training in advanced endoscopy are encouraged to apply.
    • Training and experience in quality improvement initiatives.
    • Eligibility for appointment at the (Clinical) Assistant Professor level.
