General Dentist

Join our dynamic team as a General Dentist in Painesville, OH. This position offers flexible scheduling throughout 2025, allowing you to work Monday through Friday.

Job Description

• Diagnose ailments and abnormalities of gums, teeth, and mouth and provide appropriate treatments and drug prescriptions.
• Locate and repair cavities, prepare and fit dental crowns, and perform appropriate procedures for molding, capping, and recapping teeth.
• Maintain dental histories and charts on patients.
• Recommend correction of complex dental treatments through counseling and referrals.
• Guide and counsel patients on preventive dental care.
• Provide direct dental treatment which includes care within all fields of dentistry, including urgent care, operative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, prevention, and pediatrics.
• Conduct examinations, diagnoses, and treatment as required.
• Maintain accurate diagnoses, consent, and treatment records.
• Evaluate patients needing or applying for dental care and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
• May direct the work of staff employees in an office environment.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Dental Surgery or a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an American Dental Association accredited college or university.
• Active license as a Dentist, as required by State Board.
• Additional licensing, certifications, and credentials as required.
