Full-time General Dentist

Location: Morristown, TN

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including thorough exams, accurate diagnoses, and treatment of various dental conditions.
• Offer preventative care and educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health for long-term well-being.
• Ensure detailed, accurate patient records and full compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to continually elevate care standards and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active dental license in the state of Tennessee.
• Strong knowledge of dental principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in dentistry.

Practice Overview:

• Active Patient Count: 9,200
• Moving Towards a Fully Digital Office
• Some Medicaid Patients Seen (but not full Medicaid)
• Primarily Adult Patients
• Key Procedure Focus: Dentures
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday

Staff:

• No current EFDA, but the practice is actively seeking one
• 1 Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who runs two chairs
