Physician (Primary Care) - Silverdale VA Clinic
The Veterans Health Care System, Puget Sound, is seeking full-time board certified/board eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physicians to join our Primary Care Health Team. The primary care provider will function as a highly skilled, independent care provider in the management of patients. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary care team with access to state-of-the-art medicine and some of the most advanced medical technologies available.
The Health Care Clinic operates under a PACT Model (Patient Aligned Care Team). Together with your team, comprised of a PCP, RN, LPN, and a Medical Support Assistant, you will care for a panel of approximately 1200 patients. The PACT provides comprehensive care for our Veteran population, including the diagnoses, care, and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. Common diagnoses encountered include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, and chronic pain. The position is Monday through Friday, with no weekends and no holidays.

The Veterans Health Care System, Puget Sound (VHAPUG), located in Seattle, Washington, with a sub-division at the American Lake Division Tacoma, WA, is part of VA Northwest (VISN20), comprised of two main Medical Centers and thirteen community clinics spread throughout the great state of Washington. The American Lake Division is one of the largest VA Medical Centers for outpatient medical care and features a new state-of-the-art community living center for Veterans.

- The expected range of annual salary is $240,000 to $260,000 and includes biennial longevity pay increases.
