    Physician Assistant - Vascular Surgery

    Join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, CA as a Physician Assistant - Vascular Surgery! The Physician Assistant is responsible for prescribing medical treatment and providing personal care services to the veteran population. Care is based on Veterans Health Administration, and national standards and outcomes research. Duties include documenting observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition, collaborating with medical management team members to facilitate patient care outcomes, and providing a full range of physician assistant care to patients with a variety of physical problems.

    Job Description

    • Prescribe medical treatment and provide personal care services to the veteran population

    Benefits

    • Expected salary range from $128K to $204K (negotiable based on candidate's qualifications, credentials, and experience)
    • Work schedule: Full-time, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
    • Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
    • 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, and possible 5-day paid absence for CME)
    • Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
