    Tele-Radiologist Physician

    Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time permanent Tele-Radiologist Physician.     Job Description

    • Starting base salary: $300,000 - $400,000 per year
    • Daily schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    • Provides overflow interpretation services to remote client locations.
    • Interprets diagnostic digital radiography, CT, MRI, and US examinations of the head, spine, neck, body, extremities, and internal organs as appropriate.
    • Accesses studies for interpretation through the VISN 16 Picture Archiving and Communications System(s) and reports findings electronically.
    • Protects printed and electronic files containing sensitive data.
    • Uses word processing software to execute several office automation functions.
    • Performs lab review, identifying abnormalities according to established guidelines.

    Requirements

    • Current, full, and unrestricted license from any U.S. State.
    • Preferred: Board certification or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
    • Preferred: Cross Sectional Body Imaging preferred.
    • Preferred: Sub-Specialty Board Certification.
