Primary Care Physician

The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking two full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Primary Care Physicians to serve as members of its Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) in Pineville or Lafayette, LA. Job Description

• Competitive starting salary $240,000-$250,000
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
• As appropriate, complete telehealth visits to augment patient care
• Travel may be required up to 25% to our Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC)
• Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily in an outpatient setting
• Responsible for all facets of acute patient care
• Will assist in completing quality management reviews
• Responsible for the successful achievement of applicable performance measures and monitors his/her areas of responsibility
• Incumbent will take an active part in the peer review process and complete Physician's reviews on time

Requirements

• Board certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine
• Experience in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine
• Must be computer-literate with computer skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
