    Primary Care - Women's Health Physician

    The Bronx, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting a Primary Care - Women's Health physician. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team to provide primary care and gender-specific care of female veterans of all ages at the medical center. The team includes pharmacy, gynecology, social work, mental health, and nutrition.

    Job Description

    • Provide preventive health care and primary care evaluation and management of chronic and acute medical conditions.
    • Deliver gender-specific care, including gynecological care, birth control counseling and management, preconception care, breast and cervical cancer screenings, HPV vaccinations, pelvic exams, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections, pelvic/abdominal pain, menstrual concerns, vaginal symptoms (dryness/infections), urinary incontinence, initial infertility evaluation, and menopause evaluation and treatment (hormone replacement).
    • Collaborate with 2 gynecologists on site, a women's veterans practice manager, maternity coordinator, breast care/mammographer coordinator, and breast surgeon.
    • Provide care to patients in multiple modalities including face-to-face, virtual, secure messaging, and telephone including coordination of care.
    • Participate in medical student and medical resident supervision in clinic. Opportunity for faculty appointments at affiliated medical schools.

    Requirements

    • Assistance with payment of med school loans, up to $200K is available.
    • Licensure: 1 full & unrestricted active U.S. license.

    Compensation Information

    $200,000.00 / Annually - $230,000.00 / Annually. Up to an additional $15K per year for a performance bonus. Assistance with payment of med school loans up to $200K.
