Locum Internal Medicine Outpatient MD/DO

Join our hospital-affiliated primary care clinic in Fairfield, CA. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible!

Job Description

• Credentialing takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
• Commitment options of 3 or 6 months.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Patient volume: 16-18 patients per day.
• Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
• Recommend and order tests to determine the extent of illness or help diagnose a condition.
• Monitor lab results, medication adherence, and medication toxicities.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient.

Requirements

• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.

Additional Information

• Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources.
• Team size includes 7 MD/DOs, 2 NPs, and 1 PA.
• Call is available and split between the team.
