Locum Physician

Join our current client as a locum physician, working at various sites. The Indian Health Facility will accept any state license.

Job Description

• Locum will most likely be working at 2 clinics between Temecula and Banning, CA.
• Top hourly pay plus lodging, flight, rental car, or mileage reimbursement.
• Credentialing takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
• Start date is realistically in March, with the earliest being the end of February.
• Length of assignment is 3 to 6 months.
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
• Patient volume is a maximum of 14 to 15 patients. The client prides themselves on quality over quantity.
• EMR used is Nextgen, with Dragon Dictation available.

Requirements

• Prefer to have a California license, but will accept any state license.
• Must be board certified, and hold BLS, PALS, and DEA certifications.
• Client is looking for someone to hit the ground running with 2-3 years of experience.
• Must be able to practice as a sole provider. While there will be other staff, the candidate must be capable of working independently without extensive shadowing or training.
• Must be able to complete charts efficiently and on time.
