Job Description:
- Administer diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to patients.
- Maintain records pertinent to services provided.
- Observe, evaluate, and document diagnostic and treatment effects.
- Consult with supervisor on program and professional development.
- Participate in team dynamics and interdisciplinary activities.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate speech language, cognitive, and swallowing skills.
- Manage a caseload with disorders such as: Language, Phonology/articulation, Fluency, Resonance, Voice, Swallowing, and Alternative/Augmentative Methods of Communication.
- Provide direct treatment for Speech, Language, Cognitive, Voice, Motor Speech, Alternative communication methods, and Swallowing Disorders.
- Develop advanced clinical skills in areas like Aphasia, Motor Speech Disorders, Cognitive Communicative Disorders, Dysphagia, and Augmentative Communication devices.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Science and Disorders.
- Less than three years of licensure.
- Current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NCBOESLPA.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology awarded by ASHA, or must be obtained within one year of hire.
