    Physical Therapist

    ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical, and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.

    Ahoskie, NC is ideally located an hour from the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and two hours from Raleigh, Richmond, Williamsburg, and the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. Ahoskie offers a moderate cost of living, a strong sense of community, and a temperate climate to support a variety of year-round outdoor activities, such as boating, kayaking, hunting, fishing, hiking, and golf.

    Job Description

    • The Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct patient care by evaluation and treatment in the patient population served according to age and condition.
    • As a Physical Therapist, you will actively seek to improve knowledge and skills of self and others, provide appropriate leadership, and meet competency requirements.
    • Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.

    Requirements

    • Graduation with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree from an APTA Accredited school of Physical Therapy.
    • Current valid license or eligible for licensure for Physical Therapy by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
    • Less than three years of licensure.

    • 40 hours a week
    • Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
    • Acute Care Coverage every 3rd Saturday (8 am - 12 pm)
