    Job Description:

    • Calibrate and set up radiation therapy equipment
    • Position patients to ensure accurate treatments and minimize radiation exposure to surrounding structures
    • Maintain daily quality assurance measures on linear accelerators and other departmental equipment
    • Instruct radiation therapy students, medical physics graduate students, medical residents, and other healthcare providers
    • Assist on cancer research projects

    Requirements:

    • Current RT (R) (T) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology
    • American Heart Association BLS Certification
    • Associate Degree or higher
    • 10+ years of related experience
    • Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program

    Clinical Ladder:

    • Radiation Therapist I:

      • 0-3 years of related experience
    • Radiation Therapist II:

      • 3-10 years of related experience
    • Radiation Therapist III:

      • 10+ years of related experience

    Other Information:

    • Primary Shift: Part-Time with 20 hours
    • Days; Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm
    • On Call: No
    • Weekends: No
