Location: Washington
Job Description:
- Calibrate and set up radiation therapy equipment
- Position patients to ensure accurate treatments and minimize radiation exposure to surrounding structures
- Maintain daily quality assurance measures on linear accelerators and other departmental equipment
- Instruct radiation therapy students, medical physics graduate students, medical residents, and other healthcare providers
- Assist on cancer research projects
Requirements:
- Current RT (R) (T) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Associate Degree or higher
- 10+ years of related experience
- Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program
Clinical Ladder:

Radiation Therapist I:
- 0-3 years of related experience

Radiation Therapist II:
- 3-10 years of related experience

Radiation Therapist III:
- 10+ years of related experience
Other Information:
- Primary Shift: Part-Time with 20 hours
- Days; Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm
- On Call: No
- Weekends: No
