Join our team in Shreveport, LA, where we have an ongoing need for a DDS on Fridays, potentially through the end of the year.

Job Description

• Ongoing need for a DDS on Fridays (potentially through the end of the year).
• Previous provider was asked to stay on through December but had another assignment.

Schedule

• Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch

Patient Volume

• Approximately 15 hygiene patients per day
• Approximately 12 restorative patients per day
• Staff includes 2 full-time hygienists and 2 full-time dental assistants

Patient Demographics

• Primarily young adults (ages 18-25), with a full range from 15-99 years old

Clinical Scope

• Bread and butter dentistry:
  • Dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
  • Fluoride treatments
  • Fillings (composite resin)
  • Sealants
  • Extractions (basic required; complex/wisdom teeth preferred)
• Stainless steel crowns (pediatric cases)
• Root canals - preferred but not required

Requirements

• DDS with a positive, team-oriented approach and strong patient rapport
• Medicaid certification preferred (not required)
