    Job Description

    We're seeking a Cardiac Imaging Manager at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital responsible for the daily operations of Non-Invasive CV Imaging Services. This individual will also:

    • Manage staff in cardiac support, neurodiagnostic, Echo, EKG, Nuclear Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Vascular laboratories and assure appropriate staffing levels.
    • Ensure all OSHA and JCAHO standards are maintained.
    • Be directly responsible for efficient customer service-oriented performance of staff.
    • Assist the Director of Invasive & Non-Invasive Cardiology in planning, organizing, and delineating duties and responsibilities of all personnel, operating and capital budget preparation.
    • Assist clinical supervisors with policy and procedure development and maintenance, special projects, QA/PI activities, JCAHO readiness, and computer issues.
    • Maintain the highest standards of professional performance in CV Imaging Services for the benefit of the patient, physician, and community.
    • Work closely with the Director of Invasive & Non-Invasive Cardiology in the development and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets.

    • Provide patient care and/or support activities appropriate to ages served; primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients ages over 65. May also include care for infant age 0-1 year, child ages 1-12 years, or adolescent ages 13-17 years.

    Requirements

    • B.S. degree, registry by ARDMS in echo or vascular, nuclear imaging, or Registered Cardiovascular Tech or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
    • Five (5) years experience in cardiovascular imaging services area and one year supervisor experience preferred.
