    Clinical Imaging Assistant

    Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Imaging Assistant in Arlington Heights, IL. This per diem position offers the opportunity to support the Diagnostic Imaging Department with various clerical and patient service tasks.

    Job Description

    • Assist technologists in providing efficient patient service
    • Help with patient and room preparation for examinations
    • Ensure that necessary supplies are available
    • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms
    • Transport patients to and from other hospital departments as needed
    • Call patients to confirm appointments

    Requirements

    • The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school
    • One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, especially in direct patient care roles, preferred
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy; must complete medical terminology course within the first year in position if not completed prior to hire
    • Excellent telephone etiquette required; previous Windows experience is required
    • Obtain and maintain CPR certification through the American Heart Association within three months of hire
