Neuro-interventionalist with Vascular Neurology Expertise

Job Description

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography to treat cerebrovascular conditions.
• Manage and treat vascular neurological disorders.
• Lead the evaluation and development of treatment plans for patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions, ensuring high-quality and effective care.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care and develop integrated treatment strategies.
• Work with stroke-trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage as needed, ensuring continuous patient care.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the fields of neuro-intervention and vascular neurology with support by a dedicated research team, as desired.
• Join an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base that includes excellent neurologists, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, neuro-psychologists, and neuro-radiologists.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical professionals within the Endeavor Health Neurosciences.

Requirements

• Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Radiology with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• Qualifications: MD or DO degree with completed residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Radiology; fellowship training in Neuro-interventional Surgery Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• License: Illinois Medical or pending.
