Job Description:

• Nursing - Long Term care facility providing long-term medical care at Western State Nursing facility
• Perform nursing practice under the direction of a RN or Physician
• Observe and care for ill, injured, or infirmed within scope of practice and skills
• Collect nursing data
• Counsel and apply procedures to safeguard life and health
• Teach and delegate the performance of nursing care activities
• Provide first aid for minor injuries
• Participate as a member of the treatment team
• Assist staff
• Schedule patients' activities and appointments
• Communicate with patients' families
• Attend training
• Perform simple maintenance on medical treatment equipment
• Follow established policies and procedures of the facility

Requirements:

• LPN Licensure: KY, active, current, unrestricted
• Ability to pass facility requirements
• High School or GED
