Join our team as a CT Technologist at Erlanger Baroness Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working four nights from 9 PM to 7 AM, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Job Description

• Under the supervision of the CT Team Leader and/or Radiologist, perform a variety of CT procedures, including invasive procedures and post-processing.
• Utilize computerized tomographic equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate extensively with Radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.

Requirements

• Education:

  • Required: A graduate of an ARRT approved radiologic technology program (compliant with all continuing education mandates).
  • Preferred: CT Certificate.

• Experience:

  • Required: Hospital clinical experience and basic computer experience (1-2 years work experience or college-level classes).
  • Preferred: One year of CT experience.

• License/Certification/Registration:

  • Required: ARRT certified and registered (compliant with all continuing education mandates) and BLS certification prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward.
  • Preferred: ARRT (CT).

Position Summary

The position requires independent judgment and initiative in performing CT scans and invasive procedures. The employee must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit. This includes knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
