Occupational Therapist
Location: Westchester County, New York
Job Description:
- Conduct home visits to provide therapy services according to a physician's plan of care.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.
- Develop a plan of care in collaboration with authorized practitioners and the patient's physician.
- Provide occupational therapy treatment and document the patient's response.
- Instruct health care personnel, patients, and families in safe management techniques.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and in-service programs.
- Work with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop appropriate interventions.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy school approved by relevant associations.
- Licensed and registered as a Registered Occupational Therapist in New York State.
- Two years of institutional and/or home care experience required.
- Meet state health status requirements.
