Occupational Therapist

Location: Westchester County, New York

Job Description:

• Conduct home visits to provide therapy services according to a physician's plan of care.
• Assess and evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.
• Develop a plan of care in collaboration with authorized practitioners and the patient's physician.
• Provide occupational therapy treatment and document the patient's response.
• Instruct health care personnel, patients, and families in safe management techniques.
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and in-service programs.
• Work with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy school approved by relevant associations.
• Licensed and registered as a Registered Occupational Therapist in New York State.
• Two years of institutional and/or home care experience required.
• Meet state health status requirements.
