Residency Program Faculty Physician

Under the supervision and guidance of the Chief Medical Officer, the Residency Program Faculty Physician provides teaching and precepting services for the residents and students of the Family Health Centers of San Diego Psychiatry Residency program. In addition, the Faculty Physician will provide administrative support to the Residency program through curriculum design and evaluation, planning, clinical supervision, special projects, and program development.

Job Description

• Provide teaching and precepting services for residents and students in the Psychiatry Residency program
• Offer administrative support through curriculum design and evaluation, planning, clinical supervision, special projects, and program development
• Split time between dedicated program administration, evaluation, teaching, precepting, scholarship, and providing direct patient care at assigned clinics to maintain clinical skills
