This outpatient clinic position does not require inpatient work, nights, or weekends. You will have the opportunity to teach in our Psychiatry residency program and play an integral role in developing the Neurology rotation.

Job Description

• Outpatient clinic based; no inpatient and no nights or weekends required
• Opportunity for teaching in our Psychiatry residency program and involvement in developing the Neurology rotation

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
• Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
• Board certified in Neurology
• Experience with underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired
• DEA license
• Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. Driver requirements: licensed for a minimum of 3 years; no more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; no vehicle-related suspensions/reinstatements; no DUI, reckless or felony driving within 7 years.
