Family Insight, P.C. provides treatment for children, adolescents, families, and adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and/or substance use disorders. We currently have Licensed Mental Health Counselor positions available throughout the state of Virginia.

Job Description

• Provide outpatient mental health counseling services to individuals and families in a professional office setting or virtually, based on client preference.

Requirements

• Strong clinical skills and solid documentation skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing individual and family counseling.
• Experience working with persons with various mental, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge of crisis interventions and various therapeutic modalities.
• Skills in rapport building, treatment planning, group counseling, evidence-based counseling practices, diagnostic criteria, and assessment completion.
• Understanding of the impact of trauma on an individual's functioning.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
