Occupational Therapy Assistant
Join our team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our residents with daily living activities, providing personalized care to meet each resident's needs. With all residents living on campus, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of their journey throughout their continuum of care.
Job Description
- Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
- Following Medicare, state, and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures, ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance
- Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care
- Providing therapy duties in all settings across the Erickson continuum of care, as needed
- Documenting services and billing completed accurately and in a timely manner, using business line specific formats according to company and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that the resident's plan of care (developed by the OT) is communicated to the resident, family, and physician
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with the older adult population related to therapies is preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Current valid state license (for state in which the community provides service) in occupational therapy assistant, where applicable
