We're excited to let you know about an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to give back to America's heroes and help them receive their well-deserved Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits in Bemidji, MN. This is a part-time position, requiring 2 days per week from 8 AM to 5 PM (any 2 days between Monday and Thursday), with an expected patient load of 3-5 Veterans per day. The compensation is $500 per day, with no treating or prescribing involved. Assessment experience is a plus but not required, and a state license must be in good standing.

Job Description

• Conduct examinations that begin with a review of the Veteran's medical history, including an abstract that highlights portions of the history applicable to the Veteran's claim.
• Provide examinations for Veterans to help them receive their VA benefits in a timely manner.
• Be flexible in the appointment scheduling process.
• Submit electronic records within 24 hours of the exam.
