Hospice Home Care Nurse

The Hospice Home Care Nurse reports to the Team Manager. He/she is responsible for identifying patient, family, and facility care needs, and for providing nursing and supportive care for the terminally ill patient and their families.

Job Description

• Identify patient/family/facility care needs
• Provide nursing and supportive care for terminally ill patients and their families

Requirements

• Diploma, ADN, and/or BSN from an accredited institution
• Current Maryland State license as a Registered Nurse
• Two years of nursing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledgeable of universal precautions for infection control and practices safe nursing standards for self-protection
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be patient and family focused
• Skill in the use of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and/or ability to learn

Benefits

• $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Pay range: $63,407.38 - $97,440.12 (Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, and alignment with our organizational needs)
