Transplant Hepatologist
Location: Central Pennsylvania
Job Description:
- Join a group of Hepatologists within the section of Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology
- Work with three Transplant Hepatologists, two clinical pharmacists, nurse coordinators, and HCV PROVENCARE program
- Collaborate closely with the Nutrition and Weight Management program for managing patients with fatty liver disease
- Practice General Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology, including inpatient Hepatology Service, outpatient Hepatology Clinics, and endoscopy
- Expand the liver transplant program, participate in patient selection, liver transplant clinic, and outreach
- Engage in teaching GI fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students
Requirements:
- Board-eligible/certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology or Hepatology with experience or fellowship in Transplant Hepatology
- Outstanding clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary group of physicians
