Gastroenterologist

Job Description:

• Join a team of 12 full-time Gastroenterology faculty and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Advanced therapeutics not required but welcome
• Perform all GI procedures
• GI inpatient care is strictly consultative
• Consult service always staffed by GI fellows and supervised by faculty members on a rotating basis
• Typically handle 3-8 new consults per day
• Inpatient consult service coverage for 5-6 weeks per year
• Fellow endoscopy coverage for 1-2 day sessions per week
• Remainder is outpatient care at a modern, LPN-staffed ambulatory site
