Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Come join our Quality-Rated Facility at Generations Rock Island in Rock Island, Illinois! We are currently seeking a full-time LPN for the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Description

• Responsible for the delivery and management of patient care through the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise CNAs and ensure the shift is properly staffed
• Administer medications and maintain a current report of narcotics
• Monitor infection control and universal precaution practices

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the State of Illinois
• Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care facility preferred
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented
• Exemplary critical thinking capability
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding of older adults
