    Masters Prepared Clinician

    Job Description

    • Provide outpatient therapy services to adults, children, and families
    • Maintain documentation to agency and professional standards

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling
    • Michigan licensure appropriate to professional degree (i.e., LPC, LLPC, LMSW, LLMSW)
    • Experience in the diagnosis and provision of services to individuals with mental health disorders and developmental disabilities
    • Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders or willingness to gain this experience
    • Must be a QMHP with a minimum of one year related work experience

    Compensation Details

    Salary range: $57,262 to $81,120

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment; however, it may require travel to other locations including consumer's homes, physician offices, court houses, etc. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is allowed but the employee is expected to be available during the core work hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the majority of the time, and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status unless an adjusted schedule is pre-approved. Some evening hours and weekends may be required.

    Travel

    Travel may be necessary for this position but is generally located within Gratiot County. A valid Michigan Driver's license is required to operate GIHN vehicles or to transport consumers in personal or GIHN owned vehicles.

    Required Education and Experience

    Master's degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling or related field is required. Michigan licensure appropriate to professional degree (i.e., LLP, LMSW) is required. Must have experience in the diagnosis and provision of services to individuals with mental health illness, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders in a mental health or other human services agency. Must be a QMHP with a minimum of one year related work experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    Three years of work experience in the mental health field.
