Job Description:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Maintain the highest degree of quality care as required by the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities:
- Observe and manage resident health according to individual needs.
- Provide routine care, ensure comfort, and report any changes in resident health and behavior.
- Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Administer medications and injections, provide wound care, perform standard diagnostic procedures, and collect and prepare specimens.
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state license.
- Current/active CPR certification.
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
- Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
- Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours, with options for full-time or part-time shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
- Willing to accommodate individual scheduling needs.
